The first morning I woke up in Grenada, I walked outside my cottage and saw this gorgeous plant in full bloom. I was amazed by how luscious Grenada was, although not suprising since it is a tropical environment – it is the southern-most island in the Caribbean, just north of Venezuela. The whole island was beautiful with mountains, rainforests, waterfalls, and a cerulean blue ocean lapping at sandy white beaches with stripes of black volcanic ash.
